Locker Room ♪
The voices are loud and many; it's laughter and footsteps, the slamming of metal as several students leave. One leaves with a comment, mimicking a comment with a lisp and laugh as he goes. Silence starts to build as two are left in the room, Jonathon and Timothy. Shirt pulled on, Jonathon is fixing buttons with a concerned expression. His brows furrow and he turns to look at the other who is sitting on the bench, turned away from him. "Too much?" He asks it but implies the 'sorry' part with his tone. Timothy shakes his head, moves to get his stuff with an 'I can handle it'. A small nod and Jonathon finishes with his shirt, grabs his stuff and leaves the room awkwardly.
Daydreams ♪
He's sitting outside the gymnasium when it happens. He takes his earphones out when a teammate nudges him, asks if he knows who's singing. A shrug and he leans over to the cracked doorway, taking a peek inside. He can make out the figure right away by his tall frame and the voice matches, but from there it's like things play in slow motion. The room he's looking in changes slowly, his gaze focuses and Timothy is dropping his papers, singing his heart out from what he can tell and then suddenly-- he's in front of Jonathon, offering a hand. Taking in, he pulls himself up and the two exchange a look, a small nod and smile as he joins the taller one in melody. It fades.

'Nice Form' ♪ TAKEN
They're playing basketball; the gym is alive and vibrant as the guys run around, some shirtless, some in their clothes, some just.. there. Jonathon's got his shirt off, saying it helps with his 'mobility'--whatever works for him. There's a mass of limbs both arms and legs apart as they pace up and down the court to follow the ball, listening as it bounces up and down. Shouting, intimidation tactics, nothing really works and the ball's breaking away - it gets picked up by Timothy who just brushes everyone off as he takes the ball down the court, and takes the shot. He makes it, ending the game. The others run off to the locker room to get changed and Jonathon jogs over to the taller one. As he heads past him, he gives him a pat on the ass - as he passes he offers a smile, expression sheepish. "Nice form," he calls out.
Break it Up ♪ TAKEN
The rugby team is on the field when the memory opens. The guys are tackling where they need to and are trying to make the points count where they can. Jonathon runs off to the side to check that they're all doing fine and he runs back in, defending the current holder when he hears something to the side. A teammate's talking and by the looks of the newcomer, it's Timothy. Jonathon drops and moves across the field to the two of them quickly just in time to make out some shouting and see the beginning of a fight. Timothy and the rugby player shove and push at each other but Jonathon doesn't want to see either get hurt over something. In the background he can hear his girlfriend encouraging the fight, and that provokes him into action, anything to get Timothy away from the teasing and such. Breaking the fight apart through his own shoves, his brows furrow. The next sentence comes out because he knows it will work: 'leave the pansy alone.' He moves away from his teammate to face Timothy but already the other is walking off, and Jonathon feels he's isolated himself again, despite being successful.

The scene opens with everyone around the stage; the gym is the floor and there are two primary figures up, Jonathon and a team member. It looks like rehearsal from the scenery and woods - Timothy stands to the side, dressed with wings and with a purple flower. With some effort, Jonathon speaks his lines, attempts to crawl atop his teammate but instead is rejected, pushed off as it says in the script. Some words are exchanged and Jonathon moves to the side, leaning against the makeshift prop tree. "Here is my bed: sleep give thee all his rest."
His eyes close and he hears Timothy saying his lines (with the unneeded comment from the same teammate) but then something happens that he wasn't expecting. Jonathon gets sprayed with something and on reaction he flinches, moves to rub his face, open his eyes and there kneeling over him is Timothy but there's something different about him. A smile building, Jonathon calls out his name, reaches out to cup his cheek. The action is cut short by another comment and Timothy is standing up, walking towards Jonathon's teammate. It stops there.

"Jonathon? Hey! Jonathon!!" He jerks forward on the sidewalk, eyes wide at the sudden shouting. Looking down to the girl he has an arm wrapped around, his brows furrow; he's done it again. Looking up at him with her lips pursed in a frown, the redhead shakes her head and pushes him away. "Ugh, again!? This is the fourth time today, baby!" He knows he should say something but what wants to come out is the truth - that yes, he wasn't paying attention, and it was because he was thinking about something else entirely but that's not what he knows he should say. Instead he reaches for her hand, spins her to face him then takes her second hand in his own. Lifting them, he kisses the knuckles, reluctant, and looks at her as sincerely as he can. He says he's sorry but it's not for the reason she thinks it is. A smile and she exhales, pulls in close to kiss his lips.
It's not that dangerous
There's shouting and they're outside. A mob of boys is running after one another, the game is set up with respective posts, markings, everything. In the middle of it, Jonathon's running without shouting, keeping focus as he takes a glance around the field. Glancing to the single set of bleachers he catches a redhead and her friend, gives them a wave. You did what? TAKEN
"You did what?" Jonathon's livid by the time the question falls from his lips. His hands are actually shaking and from expressions and the quiet eyes in the room, it's pretty bad. Across from him his teammate stands, a roll of his eyes and a look to the side. A shrug of the shoulders and the blond moves to leave the room. Instead the captain's arm shoots out and grabs him by the arm, moves him till they're face to face. The redhead in the room furrows her brows, confused. "What the hell's your problem? Timothy didn't do anything to you--or all of you, for that matter!" A look around and it looks like no one's willing to say anything in return for the moment.
Then the blond wrenches himself away from the other and stares. "Why is that important? He's a faggot, and we were just pointing out the obvious."
"You don't do that for the sky, or the ocean, do you?" Jonathon shakes his head, clenches his hands into fists but he doesn't raise them; he doesn't want to. The silence gets him. "And quit using that word! He's not that different from anyone."
They still remain quiet. A sigh, Jonathon throws his hands in the air. "You guys--are unbelievable."
"Why are you defending him?" He turns, looks to that pair of eyes that are so familiar and he catches himself. "What are you trying to say?" It's Jonathon's turn to be quiet, in disbelief and wavering between what he knows outside and what he thinks inside. A shake of the head and he sighs, leaves the room.
